Organización Juventud Ecuatoriana has been elected by the Department of Youth and Community Development as a Community Outreach Provider for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – DACA initiative. Due to its relation and presence with the community, JUVE is a key element to reach the Ecuadorian community in New York who might be eligible for this program.
Through this Community Outreach program JUVE has access to more than 50 organizations throughout the 5 borough which provide Legal and Educational services for the community, the services include and are not limited to: legal advice, GED and Adult education programs, among others.
The benefits that DACA can bring to those eligible include: a work permit, social security card, NY State ID or Driver’s License, among others
