Motivation has caused a great impact on my life since I found out of its existence. When I turned 15 years old, I heard about the famous book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. For those who are not familiar with this book, it is about the Law of Attraction and the importance of positive thinking in our lives. At first I thought the content of this book was just fiction and I did not appreciate its value, but when I turned 17 years old, I started to implement the principles of positivism and realized this book was nothing fictitious. Instead, it actually had genuine stories that started to change my perspective of life. My senior year in high school was when I began to apply the ideas of the Law of Attraction and positive thinking. I do not know if it was a coincidence or not, but it brought joy and positive energy to me and people around me. Furthermore, I was more productive with my classes and extracurricular activities. Thus, I could get into a prestigious college by acquiring several scholarships. Receiving several scholarships at this point in my life was like a dream come true because it signified all the rewards I obtained on behalf of my hard work.
In search of further motivation, I tried to read more books about motivation and personal growth. I’m currently reading Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker. I consider the book The Secret as the base of my beginning to understand how motivation works. And now I am able to understand the book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and comprehend its real meaning. This book focuses on the power of the mind to attract lots of money while achieving material detachment. Furthermore, it helped me understand the reasons why most poor people remain in poverty and why most rich people remain wealthy.
Everything would be different if our society were to focus on the positive and not the negative side of things. The only message I want to share with you dear readers is: motivation is the basis for everything; motivation has the strength to make our dreams come true.
I hope you feel inspired to read these books and apply their principles to better your lives.
You can find these two books at any bookstore or online booksellers companies.
